It is an excellent collector used for the flotation of sulfide ores, with flotation performance similar to that of xanthates and dithiophoshates, but compared to them, it has characteristics such as strong collection, fast flotation speed, and lower dosage. 

It's a weak collector for pyrite, thus providing good selectivity in the flotation of sulfide ores; it performs well in the flotation of sulfide ores such as copper, lead, zinc, stibnite and other sulfide minerals; 

It can improve the separation of lead and zinc in high alkalnity conditions.
